About the event
About Reparative Reading's Fall Book Selection:
With feelings of empathy and a yearning for more understanding, we will be diving into the pages of “Gaza in Crisis” by Noam Chomsky and Ilan Pappé, a brilliant book that provides information and research on the wreckage of the Israeli and Palestinian communities.
We are offering our readers a chance to learn more, together, in a space that is inclusive and most importantly pro-empathy. The war in the Middle East is complicated, unfair, and downright scary. Together we will learn more about the cause and effect of power, colonialism, terrorism, and the history of two complex societies that have been tangoing for decades in blood, lies, and tears.
November 2nd: Chapters: 1-4
November 9th: Chapters: 5-8
November 16th: Chapters 9-11
